The tenants have the opportunity to pool and represent their interests through self-selected representatives of the tenant advisory board.
The tenant councils want to actively promote coexistence in their neighborhood and support tenants with questions to the customer center.
The tenant councils are also there to mediate in disputes between neighbors and thus promote harmonious coexistence.
The tenant councils promote transparent communication between tenants and landlords.
The tenant advisory board supports personal concerns between tenants and HOWOGE and if there are obstacles to contacting HOWOGE directly.
The principles of our trusting cooperation are documented in the statutes for tenant councils and the electoral regulations for the formation of tenant councils. The guidelines for tenants' councils, which have been in force since May 2018, remain valid until the regulations from the WoVG amendment of February 9, 2023 have been coordinated.

To represent your interests with your landlord, four candidates have filed for election in the Gehrensee/Obersee constituency, whom we briefly introduce here. A maximum of three members will be elected to the new tenants' council. The candidates not elected will serve as replacements in the event of a member's early departure. Now the decision is yours: Who should represent your interests in the neighborhood with HOWOGE?
IMPORTANT: You can select a maximum of three candidates per apartment.
You will receive the information leaflet for postal voting, along with the ballot paper and a return envelope, by mail. Please do not write on the ballot paper or envelope, or your vote will be invalid! You can drop off your envelope at the HOWOGE Service Point (Wiecker Str. 3b) or mail it to us. In this case, please use the enclosed return envelope.
Please cast your vote by June 13, 2025 at the latest!
The date of receipt by HOWOGE is the date that counts. Please note that postal delivery times are at least three business days. The public count is scheduled to take place on June 18, 2025, at 10 a.m.
