The tenants have the opportunity to pool and represent their interests through self-selected representatives of the tenant advisory board.
The tenant councils want to actively promote coexistence in their neighborhood and support tenants with questions to the customer center.
The tenant councils are also there to mediate in disputes between neighbors and thus promote harmonious coexistence.
The tenant councils promote transparent communication between tenants and landlords.
The tenant advisory board supports personal concerns between tenants and HOWOGE and if there are obstacles to contacting HOWOGE directly.
The principles of our trusting cooperation are documented in the statutes for tenant councils and the electoral regulations for the formation of tenant councils. The guidelines for tenants' councils, which have been in force since May 2018, remain valid until the regulations from the WoVG amendment of February 9, 2023 have been coordinated.
The previous tenants' advisory board has dissolved. To ensure that the interests of the tenants continue to be well represented, a new election for the tenants' advisory board is expected to be held later this year.
